Replace the BR-AGCF2P 6V battery A98L-0031-0011 only while the power to the servo amplifier unit is on. If the battery is replaced while the power is off, the absolute position of pulse coder will be lost.

The FANUC battery has an estimated lifetime about one year, The manufacturer strongly recommends to replace it every year in order to prevent any lost data.
